Cross Cultural Leadership

This course equips leaders to navigate the cultural dynamics present in their community and within their own ministry teams, where members often come from vastly different backgrounds, languages, and life experiences. Participants will learn how to recognize and honor cultural differences rather than overlook or flatten them, understanding how culture shapes communication styles, expressions of faith, conflict, and expectations around leadership and care.

The course addresses how these dynamics show up specifically in online pastoral care and ministry, helping leaders support team members in ways that respect their cultural background while keeping the team unified around a shared mission. Special attention is given to practical conflict resolution, helping leaders recognize when tension stems from cultural misunderstanding versus other issues, and equipping them with approaches to address conflict in a way that builds trust.
